Eva Longoria's Las Vegas nightclub has temporarily closed amid financial problems.
The Eve Club, which is located in the MGM Resorts's CityCenter complex, shut its doors last week, but could reopen in the future after a complete renovation, the venue's attorney Lenard Schwartzer toldThe AP.
Longoria owns a one-third stake in the club and its adjoining restaurant Beso, which will remain open because it is able to turn a profit.
Beso LLC, the company which owns The Eve Club, filed for bankruptcy in January, claiming that the nightclub had amassed $5.7m in debt by losing more than $76,000 on a monthly basis.
Desperate Housewives actress Longoria was listed as an unsecured creditor in Beso LLC's bankruptcy filings.
The MGM Resorts's CityCenter was opened in late 2009 and houses several resorts, including the Aria and the Mandarin Oriental.
It was recently reported that Desperate Housewives's upcoming eighth season could be its last.Source URL: http://scarlettjohanssongirl.blogspot.com/2011/07/eva-longoria-las-vegas-nightclub-closes.html
